Church of St. Nicholas the Traveler

The Church of St. Nicholas the Traveler (Croatian: Crkva sv. Nikole putnika) is a church built in 1219 by a man named Rako and his wife Elisabeth, who then donated it to the abbey of St. Stephen. It was rebuilt in 1990.

It is located in Marjan Park, a couple hundred meters above the first viewpoint in Marjan. The church is usually locked, so it can’t be accessed every day, but the water fountain next to it is free to use.
