The Magnificent Blue Cave

Our first stop is the famous Blue Cave on Biševo Island. On the Croatian Island of Biševo, in a bay called Balun, lies the Blue Grotto sea cave, also known as the Blue Cave. It’s one of 26 caves on the tiny island and is without question one of the best caves in Croatia.

Bisevo Island is composed of limestone rock and is inhabited by just a handful of people all year round. The cave was formed by erosion from the Adriatic Sea. Once at the cave, you’ll be struck by the piercing blue hues of the cave that are caused by sunlight reflecting through the water and bouncing off the white limestone on the bottom.

Charming Komiža Village

After the island of Biševo, we will head to Komiža, an authentic, beautiful fishermen’s village on the island of Vis. Feel free to enjoy your morning coffee on the picturesque promenade or use the time to explore the village. The setting will make you relax and enjoy the scenery.

Enjoy the Stiniva Bay

After Komiža, we will move on to another location on Vis Island. The unique bay of Stiniva is accessible only by boat and is, for sure, one of the best beaches in Europe.

Swimming, snorkeling, and stand-up pedaling are some of the top things to do at Stiniva Beach besides admiring the scenery, so do not hesitate.

Swim in the Green Cave

When you are on a sea cave tour, why not swim in one? The Green Cave is a unique location for swimming since inside a cave is a spot that, according to legend, brings luck to anyone who touches it. It is a pillar of sunlight hitting the bottom, and whoever touches the bottom will be happy till the end of his life! Legend or not, it is still an unforgettable experience.

Swim on the Island of Budikovac

The island of Budikovac is our official swimming stop of the day. It is located right next to the island of Vis. It is an uninhabited island with a large pebble beach and a crystal-clear lagoon. Enjoy the empty pebble beach, far from civilization and the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The Beauty of Hvar

The Old Town of Hvar, one of the most beautiful harbors in the world, is full of cobblestoned streets, stunning beaches, and ancient history. It is the perfect time to have lunch in one of the famous restaurants and enjoy an easy walk around the town.

Take a stroll down its streets and visit a museum or two. Don’t skip the view from the fortress above Hvar; it will leave you breathless! Many restaurants source their ingredients locally, especially when it comes to seafood. Fish are usually freshly caught!

After exploring the town of Hvar, we will head back to our starting point, Split.
